This is the “central campus quad” at Binghamton University. Maybe it’s the fact that they uprooted a bunch of trees and grass to put in concrete, but I don’t think it looks very good. I wish college campuses would spend less money on construction and instead improve the quality of education.  More faculty, course offerings, and academic scholarships would be a better use of money than unnecessary campus improvements.
